We are all broken in many ways. But where we are strong (or less broken), we must help those who are broken somewhere else.
What if someone else found the coin that the woman in the parable lost?
We are all part of a growing, creative, story, and we should strive to contribute as best we can.
We think of sacrifice at a very low level – giving a few percent of our means, etc., but true sacrifice is giving up something that is loved.
We have been told about how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of Heaven. We don’t earn it, but are given it by the grace of God. What is difficult is being able to put aside our own view to perceive the beauty of God and His Love.
We all have those who don’t care for us, but fortunately we have those who love us. We need to forget the former and embrace the latter.
Have you ever backed into your own car? Embarrassing, isn’t it!
We get confused with our wants and our needs; what we think are needs are only what we want. Christ gave up what He needed because He wanted us. You_Cant_Always_Get_What_You_Want
We cannot please everybody, and it is clear that we don’t. Somehow this magnifies the value of those who do appreciate us. Rejection_vs_Acceptance
We all wonder why God made the world the way He did, and how such a God can be called Good. But when you think deeply enough about it, you see that it is truly the Greatest Story that ever could be told. The_Competition
